With a generous donation, the Prince George’s Community College Foundation formed the Kathy & Jerry Wood Fund at the Community College. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to one graduate from each of Price George’s County’s 25 high schools and three night schools who enroll at the Community College. These kinds of gifts allow the College to fulfill their strategic objectives of achieving excellence in student success, teaching and learning, technology and the health sciences.

The Prince George’s Community College Foundation, Inc. was incorporated on April 19, 1985 and received the 501(c)3 status on February 13, 1986. It is operated exclusively as a nonprofit organization for the charitable and educational purposes of furthering the programs, facilities, and opportunities at Prince George’s Community College by providing financial resources to meet its goals and objectives.
