The Dyslexia Tutoring Program looks to teach low-income children and adults with dyslexia, or a language-based learning disability, to read. This is accomplished through a professional screening assessment and tutoring by volunteers. The Foundation gifted a generous donation to fund the general operations of the program, specifically the Main Tutoring Program, Saturday Morning Program, Summer Camp Program, and Tools for Life Program.

Founded in 1982, the Dyslexia Tutoring Program in Southeast Baltimore was started when a group of concerned citizens began offering specialized tutoring to improve the skills, self-esteem, and behavior of dyslexic youth.
