The NSHF Stem Program is part of the U.S. Department of Education. This program consists of a curriculum based around two specific disciplines – physics and mathematics. With a fleeting student body to the program, the foundation made a donation to encourage more students to pursue expertise in STEM fields. In turn, creating more innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges our nation faces daily.

The STEM Sailing initiative is a significant part of the National Sailing Hall of Fame’s mission to engage sailing’s next generation. It is also believed that the initiative will make an important contribution to the national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) program, and thus enhance the future research, engineering, and high-tech U.S. workforce.
