Bello Machre, a non-profit organization in Glen Burnie, MD accepted a generous donation for the Kathy & Jerry Wood Foundation that looks to help in their efforts to continue providing a lifetime commitment of loving care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. A handful of professional providers offer a number of services to individuals with cognitive and/or physical disabilities to assist them in their homes and assist them in navigating the system to help explore all resources available to them. From meaningful day services to positive awareness, Bello Machre encourages every person to eliminate the stereotype and understand that we are all capable of enjoying and sharing life experiences.

Founded in 1972, Bello Machre supports over 200 people in their 60-community homes and help more than 100 children, adults, and families in their own homes and communities. Founded by a group of parents, Bello Machre aims to be the first-choice service provider offering outstanding, comprehensive services to enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities in Maryland.
