The Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development (CEED) of the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) was awarded scholarship support in career and occupational training. These scholarships will further help provide students with educational opportunities to prepare them for middle-skill jobs that require training beyond high school, but do not require a four-year degree. CCBC plans to structure the scholarship program for students who want to pursue certificates in high demand industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, and transportation.

The College of Baltimore County’s Continuing Education and Economic Development division provides continuous education classes, customized workforce training to businesses and organizations, career training, and life-enrichment classes. Their flexible and supportive learning environment helps students embark on careers, attain continuing education certificates, gain career and academic skills, earn high school diplomas, or take personal enrichment courses.
