Over the course of seven years, a substantial donation was made by the foundation towards the development of the Health Services Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center. The Institute will serve as a virtual classroom to provide real-time instruction and seminars by remotely linking scientists and specialists with resident and student physicians and nurses. It will also enable participants to view surgeries, medical procedures, and lectures from across the state, country, and across the globe.

Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC), a regional health system headquartered in Annapolis, MD., serves an area of more than one million people.
